Since the older FO's aren't going anywhere, the age 65 rule getting rid of them actually hurts the company. What the company needs is a "no captains over 65" rule.
Getting rid of pilots with the looming pilot shortage.....? The short term savings might be over-shadowed by a long term reality.
Hate to break it to you but FOs have been leaving steadily and not a single sole has been hired in 10 months. The ratios are changing, there is no hiring.
