There's a guy in the training center hired on about 18 months ago who hadn't flown in 3 years (20+ year military career); and to top it off, system chief pilot (MG) told our systems class a few weeks back... "we know our applicants can fly airplanes, we want to make sure they are professionals and they really want to be here"... Probably a few words off in that quote, but that was the gist of it.
Long and short... overall, hours matter less than motivation to work for allegiant.

I got the TBNT email the same day others with 2500 hours are being invited for interviews. I will keep trying, but in my mind, it's all luck of the draw and a process that is not as clearly defined as I had thought. Good luck to all who apply!
I've been trying to get an in person interview for over a year and have been interested but not ready for 3 years or so. I've done the video interview twice now and got nothing to show for it. I've got over 5200 hours and almost 1000 TPIC. Allegiant is my dream job but a friend of mine asked why I keep getting no's and said if they said no twice it probably won't happen. I really want to be there and did as much to convey that as I could. 2 Job fairs this year and a meet and greet too. The competition is getting rough.
