Please don't take it personally that we apply.

Dude you don't need to apologize. You do what is right for you. Do we have problems yes as does every airline. But some of these guys get a little carried away. I don't regret coming here for one second. I am still very optimistic and I know we will get a great CBA. That will really help. Look we are changing the culture of JetBlue and how it deals with its pilots. It's like going through puberty it sucks but once it's done we won't be looking back. I think you should apply to every airline you want to but you don't need to feel bad because some guys on the internet are giving you an "education".

As always there are a ton of variables. I was hired 6 years ago only spent a few months on reserve and upgraded quick and also have a very easy commute, now I spend my time on reserve as a captain. So my opinion will be different vs some of the guys who are stuck as FOs on the bus on reserve with a rough commute(they have very valid points). But this is nothing new in the airline world. I just feel if you have the option of a job at JetBlue and you feel it is a step up go for it. Now that does not mean you shouldn't keep your options open but I certainly wouldn't pass up a job here or feel bad about applying.

Good luck and I hope you get what you want.
