All problems are NOT equal and ours are FAR more substantial than "my crew meal wasn't hot" or "my 5 star hotel didn't have any shampoo in my room".
Do you ever visit those other boards? UPS is especially toxic...despite being one of the highest compensated aviation jobs on the planet. They're all the same. Always 5 or so folks that just run the place down and all the hopeful applicants constantly. I work for a crap ACMI operator. Some of the folks I work with are just happy as clams. Some think it'll be great just as soon as a a new CBA is in place. Some want to punch you in the face for just showing up to work. I have friends at American that think it's absolutely the worst job they've ever had. I have friends at JetBlue that are perfectly happy. And every range of opinions in between. So like me, I'm sure that these guys are applying to every airline that they could see themselves having a successful career at. Maybe today JetBlue is at the bottom of that list of airlines. Maybe in two years it would be #1 or 2? Who knows? Who's gonna call first? This industry is so unpredictable and cyclical.....and at some point you just have to slide your chips across the table and walk away.
Here's the deal though. Every job sucks. And we're all just trying to cover our nut (STS).
