Anyone paying attention should know that as of right now, B6 doesnt feel any real pressure to improve conditions- They have stated this repeatedly in emails and during recurrent.
Only serious staffing issues or a strike vote will shake things up.
^^^What he said! The company has no reason or pressure to get this done! Our last mediated negotiation session for this year will be next week, which means by the end of next week we will be in a labor dispute, because we all know nothing will be agreed to before years end, so we will see if the MEC will stand by its word!
I feel like we missed the boat and should have picketed this summer, but I trust the MEC and NC (for now) and see what they have up their sleeves (if they do) and follow their lead.
Look where mediation has gotten Frontier and Spirit, meanwhile at UA they are opening up Section 6 early, while the NMB is telling Spirit guys they are being unreasonable. GMAFB!
