I feel like we missed the boat and should have picketed this summer, but I trust the MEC and NC (for now) and see what they have up their sleeves (if they do) and follow their lead.

Look where mediation has gotten Frontier and Spirit, meanwhile at UA they are opening up Section 6 early, while the NMB is telling Spirit guys they are being unreasonable. GMAFB!

Why wouldn't the MEC stand by its word? As far as missing the boat unfortunately you have to follow the process. I don't understand why this is hard. Yes we are in mediation but you want to go into mediation saying you have done everything you could to get an agreement. There is a spcefic timeline for everything, this isn't ALPAs first contract. Would it have been better if we voted in a union years ago, YES but it is what it is. We play the card we have now not sit around and think how much better it could have been If we had done this or that. Guys there will be a CBA this game was over when we voted in a union. Now we have a time issue but it will happen and I honestly believe we will be happy with the results. JetBlue is not for everyone and again we are lucky to be in one of if not the best hiring environments ever where pilots can literally pick where they want to go. I still think if you end up at JetBlue things will end up being good.
