KLOAs can be half month (1st half or 2nd half) or full month. Depends upon what they release for the month.

You could try the above. Check out the PBS gouge off deltanet - crew resources & scheduling - PBS resources and info. It has a section on contigency biddding...its worth a look/try. If that doesn't work, try to swap, drop, APD. Wild card swaps are explained on the swap with the pot page, just click on the help button.
If you get reserve, as soon as the schedules are release put in a X day move if you're forced into working Christmas. I was forced into reserve coverage on Thanksgiving this month, but was able to move my reserve days to get 23-26Nov off.
