It sounds daunting at first, but youre almost always in uniforms.
It's quite simple. You quickly realize the items you thought you needed you didn't. Your bag gets lighter as you're time goes on. 4 shirts 4 pairs of pants (rarely used more than 2) I bring 6 undershirts rolled up as I sweat a good bit during the summer. Pair of hotel shoes/sandals pair of shorts and 2 hotel shirts. I pack a rain jacket in the side pocket of my bag and 6 pairs socks on the other side. Bag is light and has gotten significantly lighter since I started. I also have a small roller that attaches to the front for laptop chargers and comes with a bag for toiletries and another for your laptop etc. I chose to spend the money on good stuff. Luggage works Stealth Suitor which is great for the pants as they tri-fold on the top. Pockets and storage galore. It's pricey up front but unused my first stipend to purchase them so didn't really cost me any out of pocket other than 18 days away from home.
