Yep, every single time a survey or suggestion was asked for I filled it out or sent one in. I sent trip sheets to the pilot committee. I filled out feedback forms every time something happened that wasn't right. I never received a single response from anyone other than the pilot committee. So yeah, I did more than just complain about it.
Nothing you've said is even remotely threatening. It's just flawed. You've been told by at least 2 pilots here that your understanding of the MOU, especially how it pertains to jet upgrade, is incorrect. Yet here you are,
a former employee, who has supposedly "moved on" making it a point to come on here and argue that particular point. Had you even stayed at Planesense, the whole jet upgrade details with the MOU, as currently written, wouldn't have even affected you. I would bet that whole bonus contract is gonna change or maybe even not be available to upgrades after 2018. Even a new hire street captain hired today, signing the MOU today, will wear out the 24 months on the contract long before they are upgrading to a jet.
As far as your experiences, great info. Really. But as others have already pointed out, respectfully, some of that was on you and your crew. The FOC is gonna do what they do because it's their job. It's on individual pilots and crews to look out for themselves and pull out the stop sign when it comes to rest, food, and fatigue. You gotta look out for yourself no matter what company you work for. Speak up and stand your ground when it comes to issues that affect your performance on the flight deck. Not a single aviation company or VIP passenger on the planet is worth risking your certificate or even worse, your life, if you fly fatigued or are starving cause you haven't eaten in 12 hours.
