This was pretty much my set-up when I flew for Airlines, it just seemed like I got looked after very well when I was either deadheading or commuting. Plus, I had a small cooler.
Just curious what luggage strategies are being used, if I get hired, I know that I’ll be Airlined quite a bit, that’s OK, I’m just trying to learn the little things you learn from people already living the life, so as, to perhaps learn something that helps aliviate some pain..
Also, anyone have TSA pre or Global?
Does it help?
Thanks for the insights.

I get it all aboard 95% of the time. If anything is gate checked (pink tag valet) it is the larger of the two. That's very rare though. Most of my flights are on mainline and not much valet. I have never checked a bag with this company. Just not worth the hassle. Hence why I bought a standard 22" roller that will fit. Plus it's extremely durable.
The smaller roller does fit under most seats. I usually sling it up top if there is room. I've had no issues with luggage on mainline carriers.
TSA PRE is a MUST in my opinion. I would also look into CLEAR as an addition. Simplifies life. You can show up ALOT closer to your flight time and not 2 hrs ahead. CLEAR is in 19 cities and growing. I usually get through ATL in 5 mins or less. MY record is 2:40 using CLEAR/PRE combined. Somemtimes, depending on the airport, I show up 10 to 15 prior to boarding. BOS is not one of those FYI. Plus when you go through scanners for PRE, you can grab a white bowl and put it in front and back of your bags. Tell them you're crew and they usually let most things go. Water, other liquids and such. It makes life easy. Most of the places are good about it. Its the small backwoods airports that suck sometimes. Plus medallion/elite status helps with upgrades and boarding. These are my experiences. Hope this helps.
