I agree that the 737/320 is a better deal on paper, but I've known some pretty junior west coast guys score random things like those HKG repo trips, and some who like the 1 leg trans-cons. Not a lot of variety but it's a nice office.
East coast bases definitely have awesome flying variety. IMO that would be one of the few big plusses over the 737/320.
