I've had several friends (and one roommate) go off to ASA with mixed results. The dissenting opinion comes from a kid who got tossed on to the -700 against his will. In all honesty, he's not in a bad spot, he's just not a fan of sitting reserve forever and a day getting bumped down by -200 drivers bidding over. If I knew then what I know now, I would have gone there instead. But too late now. The "other" roommate has been there awhile and works a schedule that would be a pipe dream to someone with the same seniority number at RAH. The biggest problem everyone had with ASA was the lack of a contract...once they have one I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you want to go to Delta. ASA is to DAL what XJT is to CAL.

The only real issue I have with ASA is that their owned by SKW Inc. That's not a flame against you SKW pilots...it's a fact of life that your parent company owns two airlines operating on two contracts with two seniority lists...eventually those two are gonna clash (if you don't count ASA losing both it's bases on the left side of the rockies...in which case they already have).
