I can’t find any evidence that would say AAG has any ownership or interest in those aircraft. The press release for the order only says Mesa. The aircraft are all registered to Mesa (not Wells Fargo or AA).

It was merely a rumor at the time that spawned from PSA’s staffing shortfalls and some Mesa pilots thinking they were getting aircraft diverted from our order.

AA being a “creditor” would imply Mesa owes AA money. Did AA finance the buy? If so, it would be in AAG’s finances. Again, I can’t find anything about that.
