He keeps his wings, looses flight status and has to go to a PCOR board for retention/redesignation. If he is not redesignated then he gets out with his AD commitment truncated to time served (still has the remainder of His IRR commitment if hes been in less than 8 years) and he qualifies for R-ATP mins.
Regionals will ask, but as long as he has R-ATP mins they won’t care.
Interesting enough though he says he just shy of 705 but was told with the conversion he met R-ATP..first I've ever heard of this situation so thought I'd share and get insight
