The more likely scenario is you finally made it back to your DFW after some length of time. Block hours have been cut in your base and there is now a need for pilots in NY. TDY is offered for a month in NY. You can bid Home Based and if you get it you can bid your seniority in NY and get all the contractual stuff mentioned above.
