People forgot about the 767-200. But that is really the perfect airplane to fly LAX-JFK or make it an ER and fly it over the pond or to Hawaii. Those old Non Fadec GEs were wonky, and it flew like a truck, but it was a very capable aircraft.
We called it the “Dump Truck”. It had room for jumpseaters and plenty of luggage, and the brakes would squeal like a thousand pigs.
