Not everyone wants to leave skyw. Most of those guys are late 40s and it’s just not worth the move to commute across the country for them. I figure most have other means of income allowing them to fly more as a hobby.

Those guys are to old to have any real quality of life flying a 777, they made there decision a long time ago and skyw was it. Im sure the wife is working as well, factor that in, she would have to quit her job if they wanted to move. Or they could commute and spend all there surfing time sitting in an airport and take a pay cut for 5 years or so. I dunno seemed pretty obvious to me. But now you may see some guys quit or move on.
