I guess I am confused as to why there is such a sense of entitlement. There are 14,000+ pilots here. More than a dozen fleet types, bases, etc. In a class of 30 if your last 4 are 0001, be grateful. For fawks sake—-you are the most senior person in the class behind you.
I was hired here around 30 and will retire here with classmate who was hired mid 20s ahead of me. Who cares? I’ve got a good job, provide for my family, and was hired a couple years ago at the beginning of a huge wave.
If you don’t like the last four of the ssn for class, then apply at American??
Guess what? In the business world if you have certain traits you pass over others for promotions. Could be worse.
