I’m in the mindset if FRMS gets us more flying with United painted on the side and not codeshared out like Delta does a lot of, then that equals a lot of high paying widebody jobs, hopefully more widebody aircraft and a larger seniority list which pretty much guarantees pay raises for a lot of the list.
Company could have just as easily said they don’t want it for xxx dollars and figured out a way to code share the segments.

Leverage with FRMS? I don't get it. It benefits the company, and us. We are pulling on the same end of the rope. Why on god's green earth would we want to make it difficult to fly ultra long haul.
Same guys complaining we code share away to ANA and Lufthansa.
