Is there any other airline that uses some screwball way of determining new hire seniority? Every airline I know of (AA, UA, WN, NK, B6, VX, and the regionals) all use age. Who cares if someone is Sr to you if they’re older? They’ll be gone and you’ll still be making $$$ for years later.
I believe Hawaiian goes by last four of ssn as well but the opposite way delta does it. Lowest number is most senior. Not sure how fedex or ups does it.
