Keep the faith even if it’s a TBNT this time! And I say that honestly not as brown noser since they have no way of knowing which applicant I am.

Honestly, Island Air’s trouble threw a wrench in the works and HAL doing the right thing may delay us but that’s EXACTLY the kind of company we (I assume) wish which to retire! I figure I’m barely at the ‘competitive’ mark and if I get the TBNT letter, I’ll reevaluate how to make myself stronger by next window, but Hawaiian is growing and there is space for us!

I was sad at the last TBNT. And I have already steeled myself for this one though I am still hopeful, my bags are packed, and my life ready to move if the call comes. If it doesn’t, we know that some worthy people in a rough situation are in that seat instead of us this round. My career started right before 9/11/2001. I reset it around 2008, leave of absence, career exploration. No fun! I’ve been incredibly unlucky timing wise but I have never given up. Finally, the timing is great for all of us and despite a recent poster’s dismay, HAL is an excellent place to be, even if we have to wait another round.

Hang in there, everyone!!! If you can handle a dual flameout in the sim and land her safely while that sadistic sim instructor throws monkeys at your windscreen (and you can), you can manage this! We got this!
