As far as the bid... I think/hope I have this figured out.... so each request # functions like a layer would in PBS. And within each request number you click "new" to build your bid for that request. What throws me off is what is meant by "choice" 1.. 2.. within each request block. I kinda just ignored the confusion and assume its just how you build each bid.
So if say 4th of July is your vacation bid and you had 2 weeks to bid, you might have:
(bid/layer 1) Request 1
Choice 1.... late June*** to early July***
Choice 2..... early July*** to mid July***
(bid/layer 2) Request 2
Choice 1.... early July*** to mid July***
Choice 2...... mid July*** to late July***
I hope that makes sense, that's how I am interpreting the "request vs. choice" language.
Now see, I interpreted it differently. I see it as, my first *request* for a week off is July 1st to July 8th. if I can't have that my second *choice* is July 8th to July 15th.
My second *request* for a week off is August 1st to August 8th, and my second *choice* if I can't get that in this *request* is August 9th to August 16th, etc etc.
So nice of someone at the company to explain how this all works....
