I’ve flown with FAs who claim to be in the know and good friends with some high rollers in the company. One told me our supposed exact fleet plan the other day. I’ve flown with captains who claim to be in the know because of their friends/connections/old management jobs. All of them are full of feces.

I’ve flown with a couple check airmen in the last couple months and neither has any idea what will happen. I heard Robin speak the other day and he said they are looking at the C series as well as the E2. It sounded like the C series was being used as leverage to get a lower priced E2, but that’s purely my opinion trying to read between lines. EMB needs us as a customer. Badly. Converting to C series is a lot more expensive and complicated than converting to E2s.

That said, I hope we get C series. Both the 1 and 3, and eventually the CS500. Especially now that the a320/a321 backlog just grew.
