I would hope in the new contract the 757 & 767-300 will have a bigger pay rate percentage increase vs the 767-400 , 787 & 777.
Hopefully significantly closing the widebody pay gap and increasing the 737 & A320 pay gap. If we go to more of a true differential pay system this should naturally occur.
Before anyone shoots at me, I’m not saying all other fleets don’t deserve pay rate increases, of course they do. Just hoping the 757 & 767-300 gets fixed what they were shorted in them JCBA. The A320 got the biggest pay rate increase and the widebodies did better percentage wise then the 757 & 767-300.
I doubt seriously the company will entertain changing the pay banding in our next UPA... that ship has sailed. I also noticed some ridiculous post about how our pay needs to jump another 30% to keep up with our C2000 rates and inflation... another ship that has sailed. We need to have realistic expectations and neither one of these will happen IMO... need to keep our focus and work on better work rules, fixing loopholes, and improving vac pay, SL, LTD, and Trng Pay to name a few.
