I doubt seriously the company will entertain changing the pay banding in our next UPA... that ship has sailed. I also noticed some ridiculous post about how our pay needs to jump another 30% to keep up with our C2000 rates and inflation... another ship that has sailed. We need to have realistic expectations and neither one of these will happen IMO... need to keep our focus and work on better work rules, fixing loopholes, and improving vac pay, SL, LTD, and Trng Pay to name a few.
Ahem...let's not start lowering and minimizing expectations before Lucy even shows up with the football. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell, we already TOLD them that we could be had for money and little else...twice. Maybe we can grow some stones this time?
How about this instead, I'll take "All those AND unrealistic expectations for 1000 Alex". Google the FAA site for the number of ATPs they say are active. Compare that number to the number of Physicians and Attorneys there
are. Then check the prices for Boeings and Airbi. Then think about liability and big storms over the equator in the middle of the night. etc etc etc.
