I doubt seriously the company will entertain changing the pay banding in our next UPA... that ship has sailed. I also noticed some ridiculous post about how our pay needs to jump another 30% to keep up with our C2000 rates and inflation... another ship that has sailed. We need to have realistic expectations and neither one of these will happen IMO... need to keep our focus and work on better work rules, fixing loopholes, and improving vac pay, SL, LTD, and Trng Pay to name a few.
We might have these now if we hadn't extended the current contract for a few more $. Also might have had them since 2013 if we hadn't spent a year fighting UALPA over the pay bands we just had to have.
