Yeah, it was a hell of a deal! And the CAL guys attempted, albeit unsuccessfully, to get the 757-300 included as widebody based on the premise that it carried more pax than a 767-200.
Airline Pilot: "I can't believe we got management to give us widebody rates for 767-400."
Management: "I can't believe we got the pilots to fly 777s and A-350s for 767-400 pay."
