Now, if they kept taking deliveries or didn't hold airbus' feet to the fire, that would be irresponsible. The aviation world is watching how airbus treats little old Spirit as we deal with these motors, and certainly going after the airline execs who bought the first couple NEOs would send the exact opposite message. Airbus and P&W need to make it right, not only for us but for the entire industry.
I was gonna be snarky about asking for a screenshot of your harvard MBA and your PhD in propulsive engineering since you're second-guessing decisions made and work done by an awful lot of extremely competent people (airbus and P&W, not spirit, duh) but hey it's thanksgiving and I'm thankful I didn't have to abort a takeoff yesterday, and double-thankful I get to spend today with my fam.
