Can the senior 767 (for that matter A320 or 737) CAs in every base hold a line on the 777... yes. I get your point, the 777/787 are senior, but before the 764 was moved bounced back and forth between domiciles, there were a significant number of very senior pilots who flew it almost exclusively.
It’s pure luck of the draw who gets the 767-400 pay. Don’t think so? Ask the IAH CAs who used to fly it. Or the IAD pilots. Or the EWR pilots when it was moved to IAD for the short time. People shouldn’t have the pay disrupted at the whims of those in marketing.
So when the company moves the 777 out of a base and replaces the same flying with a 787, that by strict adherence to a weight formula pays less, wouldn't we be subject to the same problem?
