If they buy less than half (controlling interest) they won't need FA approval. Also like Commutair, it doesn't mean money is going to start instantly flowing to XJT pilots (it's not). So nothing to get excited about. There will be no flow (UAL Alpa said it themselves, they want to retain control). If I were a betting man I'd say we'd probably hear by year end. We won't make it thru 2018 if there's no incentive. Plain and simple. Flow through or a ton of money or both; otherwise United will be parking a whole bunch of RJs that they own. Commutair can't staff em and idk how Air Whisky is doing. If XJT was bought by anyone who isn't Skywest, this place may actually have a chance.
