You should be happy for your fellow colleague.
Yeah, it’s none of your business if this pilot wants to go to another regional and cite the better pay. I would say it’s absolutely ridiculous for anyone to blame pilots for making that decision, the only one that management can’t do anything about!
Don’t say that to amcd! I’m still waiting on him to comment on this considering the new endeavor TA (which he poo-pooed) was ratified.
We traded 100 aircraft growth for this.. some could consider that a quality of life improvement and advancement... im my base and seat I won’t see that until i go to the ERJ.. but when i do. It will definitely pay off with the growth in schedule and being able to get the vacation blocks i want.. it will come down to staffing, can we get the people As of now seems like we do. And the lure of 1 week captain upgrade is a bonus for anyone with 121 time. I still don’t see a drop in people interviewing.. honestly for me the Endeavor TA realy doesn’t make my pay look less. They onky go to 15 years $122hr 900. Im 20 on the 20 year $121... and i still get 10-15k in bonus.. they are done with bonuses... now someone on 5-10 year scale thats a different story...
