This Endeavor situation goes waaaaaaaay deeper than something as simple as operating costs being used as leverage, because this isn't what this little project is about.
Ask yourself the simple question...Why did, and why would Delta get involved with the regional side of things again after the Comair and ASA project?
If you really want answers, you can find them. You are obviously a smart guy, you can figure this out with some research and logic.
You need to read more of my resent post... regionals are “regionals” step that stone!! Get out!! Im part of that “lost generation” that basically got paused for 10 year. Actually worked out for me. Im a free bird soon. Kids grown, and time has come to move on. Glad i got stuck were i did.. go to the regional that best fits your life for the next 5 years. And move on plan and simple... im in the west so Endeavor pay wouldn’t temp me as a new guy. Geographics would.. because in 5 years the new guys will be at Majors. So who care what a 10 year Endeavor air captain makes.. (only the people that get stuck do)
