[QUOTE=HwkrPlt;2469459]PS isn't a horrible place to work, but for the amount of work you guys do (and I did for 5 years) you are far underpaid. Anyone that stays at PS that has an ATP and is under 30 years old is crazy. Get the hell out and get a seniority number at an airline. Doing BED-ACK-BED 5 times in a single engine airplane isn't doing your career any good.

Oh, and if I had a $1 for every time I get a text or phone call from someone still at PS that wants to get out but can't afford the pay cut cause their lack of multi time means they have to take a step back in a career, I'd be a millionaire.[/QUOTE

I have been a long time observer of this thread mostly because it’s a local company and I wondered how younger pilots used this job as a stepping stone in their careers. Quoting the post above anybody flying a PC12 at Planesense who has little multi time and 1500 hours needs to move on as soon any company bonds are fulfilled. Multi time is going to be needed in all most worthwhile jobs especially if airlines are your goal .
I was told by former coworker ( I’m DAL retired ) this PM that his new hire FO this last trip had around 3000 hrs and no PIC time . The FO did have a masters degree but knowbody on the inside to help him. Times are moving fast folks .
