Just an update. On the final vacancy award an October 2nd new-hire got Atlanta 200 Captain. He will sit one month as an FO in NYC then start upgrade and differences training. Not quite street Captain, but pretty darn close. It may get closer.
Another update on this last award. It appears a 1 NOV new-hire was also awarded ATL 200 Captain. IT most likely means a year or two of reserve as Captain. ATL FO is awarded even quicker and should hold a line fairly quickly.
