They see Dash FO’s junior to them with the time to upgrade get awarded jet CA on these displacements and are furious thinking the company is bypasssing them and not honoring their seniority. They fail to grasp this isn’t a vacancy. A displacement allows you to go wherever your seniority can hold. Once the Dash pilots are trained, a vacancy will eventually be posted and then they can get their upgrade. Sorry not sorry you bid over to the jet and couldn’t hold CA all spring and summer when there were vacancies. This industry is timing and luck and unfortunately the jet FO’s with the time since the fall got it at a bad time.
