For my fellow Mac users out there, I've spent some time trying to get CBTs to work on Mac. None of the OS X browser combinations I've tried seemed to work. I found that you can install Internet Explorer 11 as a Windows 7 virtual machine and everything works great that way. If you download VirtualBox
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads you can also download the Windows 7 IE 11 virtual machine

All of this is free. Directions for getting all of this to work are pretty well documented on the internet. If you have never used a virtual machine on OS X before there will be a bit of a learning curve.
The SabreView works much better in IE11 than on a Mac native browser. I like it a bit better than MobileFOS when I have space to break out the computer.
For completing CBTs on the iPad, I've tried a few different things (Safari, Chrome, FireFox, Puffin) with negative results. If you download the Photon browser from the AppStore you will be able to run the CBTs. It's not perfect, but it seems to work okay. I don't remember if the Photon browser cost me anything when I initially installed it years ago (it used to be what you used to access certain King Schools courses. I think they have gotten away from it though).
