Because I really think I might be missing something here. Let's assume Frontier has a CASM of 5 cents a mile and a RASM of 10. And Delta has a CASM of 10 and RASM of 15. The spread of both of them is 5. Doesn't that mean that the two pilot groups are bargaining from a similar economic position regardless of the size of the carrier?
