Well we used to fly there. It’s obvious what AAG is doing, closing the senior bases to open them back up flushing out the SR people. Those 20 compass birds fly out if LAX owned by AAG, and was supposed to be flown by ENY but was given to compass as our punishment for voting no. So while I’m with you on rumors, LAX isn’t completely far fetched.

At one point we stopped flying to NYC and MIA. Now look.[/QUOTE]

Wrong.

Miami flying and New York flying just slowed down, we still did it when they closed those bases. There literally is no flying in LAX and hasn’t been since the ATR days. Saying it used to be a base is not going to make it come back, San Juan was a base and definitely isn’t coming back. Those 20 compass birds are not coming our way either. AAG wants to use our options we have for the new 175s, not transfer old compass birds our way. Maybe they will transfer them someday in the future and maybe we will be doing some “out west flying,” but they got those options for us for a reason. They will use those first.

One thing to note, is that we will start flying that way before they go and just announce a base... they won’t just announce it out of thin air and start a bunch of routes.

The day we do any legs in or out of LAX will be the day I believe we may be opening a base there.

If people want to start rumors about bases, look at PHL or RDU or somewhere where we actually have a reasonable amount of flights in or out of currently operated by Envoy. Those will open before LA does...
