Default Chest Murmur

I am 19 years old, obtaining my ratings, and hold a first class medical. I recently went to the doctor for flu like symptoms (Ended up being just a small cold) and they decided to give me an EKG after the physician heard something while listening to my heart beat. They had explained that due to my rigorous exercise habits, that I do in fact have a small murmur but it is potentially harmless.

My question is.. should I schedule a visit with a Cardiologist just to make sure everything is 100% good to go before I continue my training?

Also, if I visit a Cardiologist and everything is ok, do I explain everything to my AME during my next visit?
