Yeah, always keep them in the loop for possible late show for assignments even if you don’t commute by airline. Every time I did I never got a negative outcome.

Same here. Surprisingly it's one thing the company seems to work with you on - I've gotten out of LRs and CPs because I've kept them in the loop the whole time.
