Taking a step back from all this, even those who would sign up for what is on offer now (myself included), the best course of action appears to be to, at the absolute least, get the company to take the union seriously in getting back to the table and negotiate the few final items. What it (getting back to the table) would do is remove any doubts of the union playing politics for the benefit of another group and reinforce the company's statement that it will follow up it's intentions with tangible actions.
So which is it.....the company refusing to continue negotiations or 1224 refusing to allow a new contract?

I thought you guys were blaming 1224?
