Unfortunately, these hAAte agents are country wide. They are not doing this to just Compass, but Republic as well and likely all of the AAC carriers. USAir stations seem to be better with treating the AAC carriers with respect and honoring their flight privileges.
There is definitely a difference in agents at legacy AA stations vs US Airways/America West legacy stations...same goes for legacy Northwest stations vs legacy Delta stations.
