You can commute from almost anywhere to almost anywhere in the US - the catch is how much time you want to plan doing it.
Guys commute from the west coast (seattle, san diego, etc.) to PHL, DCA, and ORF at AWAC. That would suck, but it can be done.
That being said, a commute from PIT to PHL would be easy with AWAC. Right now, the most junior PHL line holder has been there 8+ months, so you will be on reserve there.
If you can't get PHL right away, commuting to DCA or ORF wouldn't be too bad, either, there are direct flights there.
