5k after taxes is almost 767 Captain salary at Atlas, you won't be making that much until quite some time after hire. Expect something like $3500/mo take home, for the first few years, for real. Getting a TPA overnight is not guarantee at all on the 767 especially without seniority. The DHL and Amazon routes change like the wind. Atlas is just one contractor of many and the routes come and go on a monthly basis, by the time you got here there is a good chance TPA would be gone.

767 DHL is 2-4 legs per night. You start at about 9 PM, fly to CVG, sit there for 4 or 5 hours, then finish at about 9 AM. Amazon is random where you get to do things like start at 4AM one day for a flight then start at 11 PM the next day. It's not good. 747 is even worse, but at least you get a little bit more money to spend on the tattered shambles of a personal life you'll have after a few years of being almost completely absent.
