Okay, another SC/trip coverage question. Yesterday, I was given SC today from 1400-0200. At midnight, they called and gave me a 3 day with a 1300 check in (1 leg today). A junior pilot with same days avail (4) and group number (1) has SC from 1000-2200. I did not have a YS, but I do have qualifiers for "if needed to fly". Why would I get the trip and not him?

With the melt down in ATL, I am not even going attempt to call CS. Any ideas?
