I think it must be an NWA thing. I had the same thing happen to me earlier this summer where I received a call from the background people before I received the official letter/e-mail. I don't recall ever receiving a congrats phone call. Don't sweat it.
Thanks for the info. The lady on the phone said the check was done, just needed to get in touch with a former employer of mine. Totally caught me off guard. Anyways, I will be patiently waiting by the computer for the news!
