Umm... have you seen the Airbus pairings? We probably have the worst pairings among all the major airlines. A lot of it has to do with the crap flight schedules, but if you want anything commutable, you're looking at 18-21 hr 4 days, 23-25 hr 5 days. Sucks! Not to mention the back and forth day/night/redeye/pinkeye flying.

We're getting excited about 4 year upgrades? With out crappy reserve rules. Maybe if you live in base it's not too bad, but I know a lot of people that have no interest in being junior Airbus CA, on reserve flying to the island in the middle of the night.
