Um, forgive my piston driven ignorance, but just what does auto feather do on a jet (turbo fan?)... maybe it ejects the core????
My reference to auto feather is to point out that most every aspect of pilot required input is rapidly being stamped out. Jets of course do not need to auto feather but almost everything else is becoming automated and at all levels of airline equipment.
