Ya I’ve been to several job fairs already...I really hope this turns out to be something worthwhile. Turns out I gave up at $25000 contract gig for this. I was supposed to be at PC12 sim that week. When I tried to get the sim week changed, he backed out of the whole deal, didn’t want to risk the training $ on me. It would have been really nice if they would have offered a choice of a couple different dates.

Sorry to hear about losing your gig, but it’s a glimpse into the Alaska World. It’s not about you. It’s about the company. Not sure it’s really different anywhere else, but don’t come here expecting the company cares about you as an individual as much as they like to tell you that they do.
With that said, you losing out on some contracting gig just to come to a meet and greet, might show them your level of dedication to getting on at AS. Maybe it’ll work out in your favor. Good luck.
