Watch out! Captain Awesome in the house! Since we are stereotyping, I'd like to apologize now to your stick and rudder holiness. Every guy who got so bent out of shape about a new guy who rightfully isn't as good as the Captain at flying and then took it out on his uniform choices is usually a fat slob with faded pants and stains on his shirt. So, congrats Captain Mustard. You win flying.
Oh, and if you are yelling at anyone in the cockpit enough to get prostans on your case, you are an awful Captain. Unless your FO starts talking on his phone in the flare, there really isn't any reason to ever yell at an FO. You are a professional airline Captain, not a Riddle flight instructor trying to prove how tough he is.
And before you retort something stupid, yes, I was a Captain. No, even in a high flare or unstable approach, I've never yelled at anyone. All you do is say go around. Or take the controls and then mentor later. Or, god forbid, be a PM and actually watch the guy so when he does, you correct him so he can learn to do it better next time.
